Sra. Beltran is a native Spanish speaking mother of two, born and raised in Chicago. She traveled during college to later travel all over Europe along with her husband, a Michigan native and devoted hockey fan. They lived abroad in Berlin, Germany for eight years where they built a home and family among other expats and education professionals. Teaching in JFK Schule, they both enjoyed the international and multi-lingual environment of the German capital. Sra. Beltran taught Journalism and aided the Spanish department at the Upper school level, before deciding to end days of travel to settle in quiet Grosse Pointe.
